Eleven Wyoming High School Coaches were nominated to be the National Coach Of The Year in their respective sport, and one ended up winning the honor.

Briant Teichert of Cokeville, was named the 2014-2015 National High School Athletic Coaches Association Coach Of The Year in girls basketball.

The Lady Panthers have won 3 of the last 5 1A State Championships, and put together a 27-1 record this past season, beating St. Stephens in the finals.

The National High School Athletic Coaches Association is the oldest coaches association in the nation formed by coaches, for coaches, and has been recognizing national coaches of the year since 1978.
