The annual Roy Peck track meet in Riverton is a huge event in the central part of the state with 20 girl's teams participating and 16 boy's teams.

On the boy's side, Ashton Schofield of Mountain View had an incredible meet. He won the 100-meter dash in 11.23 and then went right over and won the high jump with a leap of 6-5 which was 5 inches better than any other competitor in the field. Then Schofield went back to the track and won the 200 in 23.25.

The boy's 400-meter winner in Riverton was Austin Peternal of Kemmerer in 53.1. Over in the hurdle events, Mario Guerrero of Rawlins ran 15.82 to win that with Cade Francom of Evanston taking the 300 in 41.39. In the distance races, Charles Fossy of Rock Springs won the 800 in 2.02.76, Lander's Sam Kistemann ran 4.44.63 to beat teammate Caleb Simonson by less than 2 tenths of a second. Simonson won the 3200-meter race by a wide margin in 9.53. 87. In the relay events,  Mountain View took 1st in the 4x100, Evanston won the 4x400, Rawlins the 4x800, and Rock Springs took the tape in the 1600 medley.

In the rest of the field events, Luke Branson of Mountain View really shined in the jumping events with a win in the long jump, going 21.-0.5 and took the triple jump with a leap of 45-3.5. His teammate Conner Micheli won the pole vault clearing 14 feet. In the throwing events, Payton Vernon from Evanston took the podium in the shot put with a toss of 56-.05 in the shot while Rylan Koehn from Riverton threw 158-3 to win the discus. In the boy's team standings, Mountain View was first with 105 points, Lander 2nd with 99, and Rawlins 3rd with 87.

On the ladies' side in the sprint events, Riverton's Elena Pedrin ran 13.03 to take 1st in the 100. She also placed first in the 200 with a clocking of 27.17 with Eva Nitschke of Rawlins in 1.01.72. Nitschke was also extremely sharp in the hurdle events as she won the 100 in 15.37 and the 300 in 47.37

In the distance races, Rawlins super-runner Sydney Thorvaldson sat out this meet as she recovers from a stress fracture. So in the 800, Kiana Swann of Shoshoni took the tape in the 800 in 2.24.03. She also placed first in the 1600 meters in 5.33.24 and Lilly Williams of Evanston won the 3200 with a time of 12.31.33. Riverton won the 4x100 relay, Evanston the 4x400, Rawlins the 4x800, and Lander took the 1600 medley.

Over in the girl's field events, Whitney Bennett of Saratoga won both the long jump and the triple jump. She leaped 16-7.5 in the long jump and 34-4 in the triple jump. The high jump winner was Stacia Barker of Evanston at 5-2 with Mylie Micheli of Mountain View clearing 9 feet to win the pole vault. In the weight events, the shot-put winner was Kaylee Rudy from Mountain View with a throw of 36-9. Wilson Kameron from Rock Springs places first in the discus with a toss of 104-3.

In the team standings for the girls, Riverton was 1st with 96 points, Rawlins 2nd with 83, and Mountain View 3rd with 81
