For the first time in 16 years, the Sundance girls will be playing in the state championship game as they knocked off Lovell 52-45 in the 2A semi-finals at the Casper Events Center on Friday night. Sundance received a tremendous game from Rigan McInerney who threw in 24 points on 8-16 from the field along with 15 rebounds. Teila McInerney chipped in 13 with Madison Gill contributing 12. Sundance outscored Lovell by 10 in the 4th quarter to improve to 21-3 so far this season. Lovell was led by Mikkel McIntosh with 18 points. MandiJo Baxendale had 14. The Bulldogs move to the consolation round, Sundance plays for the 2A title Saturday night.
