The Tongue River Eagles certainly had an interesting postseason, starting with the 2A West regional tournament. The Eagles won their first 2 matches over Wyoming Indian and Rocky Mountain and didn't lose a set in either match. The Eagles placed 2nd at the regional following a loss to Wind River in the championship, which put Tongue River up against eventual state champion Sundance in the opening round of the state tournament. Sundance won that match 3-1 and every set that Tongue River lost was very close. The Eagles had their season come to an end with a 3-1 loss to Pine Bluffs to wrap things up 15-16. This squad did have one all-state selection and that was Seeara Wojtzcak and the 5-11 senior just about everything. Two of her teammates made the 2A all-conference list; Sydney Butler and Carleigh Reish. Butler was a senior but Reish will be a junior next season so that's somebody to build around.
