Torrington sprinter Brendan Flock has been on fire so far this season in track as he's piling up wins where ever he competes. In Thursday's Kelly Walsh meet in Casper, Flock won the 100-meter dash in 10.67 and the 400 with a time of 50.40. Earlier this season in Wheatland, Flock posted an 11.08 in the 100 to take the tape and 22.63 in the 200 for another victory.

Flock burst on the scene at the 2022 3A State Track and Field Meet with a state title in the 200 with a time of 22.48. He placed 2nd in the 100 and 4th in the 400 with his 4x400 meter relay team taking 4th at state. Flock continued to excel on the indoor track circuit with a gold medal in the 55-meter dash and in the 200 with a class record time of 22.59. He also took 3rd in the 400 so he is having quite a year.

Flock has signed on with Black Hills State for track and it will be interesting to see him compete at the 2023 State Meet next month. We caught up with him in Casper to chat about his fantastic season to date and the future.
