The Wyoming High School Outdoor Track and Field State Championships for 2025 are Thursday through Saturday in Casper. Girls’ and boys’ teams from around the state will compete at Harry Geldien Stadium, located at Kelly Walsh High School. The defending girls’ team champions are Cokeville, Kemmerer, Lander, and Sheridan. In boys’, Burlington, Big Horn, Douglas, and Sheridan won the team titles last year.

WYOPREPS STATE TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS AT-A-GLANCE 2025

Several individual state champions are returning from the 2024 state track meet. These are broken down by classification.

In Class 1A Girls: Vinaya Vanderploeg, Riverside (100 meters), Addison Barnes, Cokeville (200 meters, 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, & high jump), Mia Dayton, Cokeville (400 meters & 800 meters), Maddie Mills, Upton (triple jump).

In Class 1A Boys: Kannon Tippetts, Southeast (400 meters), Brody Roberts, Lingle-Ft. Laramie (2A 800 meters), Louden Bremer, Lingle-Ft. Laramie (2A 300 hurdles), Kyler Winters, Burlington (pole vault), Quincy Paris, Midwest (long jump).

In Class 2A Girls: Micah Strong, Big Piney (400 meters & 800 meters), Jolynn Jones, Big Piney (1600 meters), Emma York, Big Piney (3200 meters), Laynee Walker, Kemmerer (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, & pole vault), Chaney Reish, Tongue River (triple jump), Jessica Hoffman, Pine Bluffs (discus & shot put).

In Class 2A Boys: Derek Hagler, Kemmerer (shot put).

In Class 3A Girls: Brooklyn Asmus, Torrington (100 meters, 200 meters, & 400 meters), Madison Antonino, Pinedale (1600 meters & 3200 meters), Paisley Hollingshead, Lander (300 hurdles), Adelyn Anderson, Lander (shot put).

In Class 3A Boys: Trajn Swalstad, Worland (1600 meters & 3200 meters), Cage Hardy, Newcastle (high jump), Matthew Newman, Lovell (triple jump).

In Class 4A Girls: Ally Wheeler, Natrona County (3200 meters), Addison Alley, Riverton (100 hurdles), Lilly Charest, Sheridan (pole vault), Karson Tempel, Central (triple jump), Brynn Sybrant, Natrona County (discus).

In Class 4A Boys: Chance Morris, Sheridan (100 meters & 200 meters), Kavin Hoff, Natrona County (pole vault), Landon Walker, Kelly Walsh (long jump & triple jump), Raynor Ranum, Campbell County (shot put).

Several members of the first-place relays last year also return.

2025 State Track Meet Schedule and Event Entries UPDATED

The state track championships begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday and finish at approximately 6:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday’s action starts at 9 a.m. Friday will be done around 6 p.m., while Saturday will wrap up at about 4:15 p.m.

The track meet will run on a timed schedule.

Here are the track meet programs. It will tell you which athletes are competing in which events. These are broken down by classification.
