Reigning Champs Lead the 2026 WyoPreps Preseason Volleyball Polls

All four defending champions start the 2026 season at the top of the WyoPreps Coaches and Media Preseason Volleyball Poll released on Wednesday by WyoPreps.com. Cokeville, Big Horn, Lovell, and Kelly Walsh are the preseason favorites, as they look to defend titles won in 2025. The Rams were a unanimous choice for the top spot in 2A. Kelly Walsh earned all but one first-place vote in 4A, and Lovell got all but two in 3A. Class 1A had the closest voting. Cokeville received three more points in the voting to start the year at No. 1.

FIRST WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL RANKINGS 2026

In 1A, Cokeville and Hulett both garnered five first-place votes. It was the second through fifth place votes that allowed the Panthers to edge the Red Devils for the top spot. Douglas was the only other team that got votes for the top position in 3A. Sheridan received the other No. 1 vote in 4A. Four or more teams in all four classes were in the others receiving votes category.

1 = Cokeville

3 = Little Snake River

4 = Upton

5 = Burlington

Class 2A:

1 = Big Horn

2 = Greybull

5 = Rocky Mountain

Class 3A:

1 = Lovell

2 = Douglas

3 = Mountain View

4 = Newcastle

5 = Torrington

Class 4A:

1 = Kelly Walsh

2 = Green River

3 = Laramie

4 = Sheridan

5 = Thunder Basin
