Chaos in the Standings: Upsets and Ties Close Wyoming Volleyball Regular Season

Prep volleyball teams in Wyoming wrapped up the regular season after Week 9 concluded last Saturday. The outcome of three matches in Class 1A resulted in a tie for first place in the conference standings. Three unranked teams upset a ranked opponent. That happened in 4A and 1A. Star Valley beat No. 5 Evanston in 4A, and in 1A, Upton knocked off fourth-ranked Hulett, while Burlington defeated No. 5 Dubois. Both 3A conferences saw a tie at the bottom of the standings. In 4A, there were ties at the top, middle, and bottom of the league standings. Here are the team records for all matches played through October 25, 2025.

Five schools completed conference play with an undefeated record. Only three did not win a league match. The two points-based leaders remained at the top of the standings.
