Presenting The 2025 WyoPreps Coaches And Media Preseason Football Rankings [POLLS]

The first football rankings of the 2025 Wyoming High School football season debuted on Monday with the WyoPreps Coaches and Media Preseason Football Poll. We gave head coaches and media representatives around the state the opportunity to vote in the poll. At least nine teams in all five classifications earned votes. The five defending state champs begin the year at No. 1. That’s Little Snake River, Pine Bluffs, Big Horn, Star Valley, and Sheridan. They enter 2025 as the favorites to win it all in November in Laramie. The only unanimous choice for No. 1 was Star Valley in Class 3A. Little Snake River and Sheridan were one ballot shy of being a unanimous pick for No. 1. Also, all but one team that was a semifinalist a year ago made the preseason top five of their respective class.

Class 1A 6-man:

1 = Little Snake River

2 = Burlington

3 = Encampment

4 = Meeteetse

T5 = Farson-Eden

T5 = Hulett

Class 1A 9-man:

1 = Pine Bluffs

2 = Saratoga

3 = Big Piney

4 = Greybull

5 = Lingle-Ft. Laramie

Class 2A:

1 = Big Horn

2 = Mountain View

3 = Lovell

4 = Cokeville

5 = Newcastle

Class 3A:

1 = Star Valley

2 = Cody

3 = Riverton

4 = Douglas

5 = Powell

Class 4A:

1 = Sheridan

2 = East

3 = Natrona County

4 = Campbell County

5 = Thunder Basin
