The Lyman Eagles girls’ basketball team has a rare distinction. They were one of only four teams to play a game at the 2020 3A/4A state basketball tournament in Casper.

Now the Eagles have received some national attention.

The LA Times did a recent article on COVID-19 and how it’s impacting all parts of the country, not just the most populated. The Eagles were featured in the story.

Lyman High School Athletic Director and head girls’ basketball coach Jason Hansen sent WyoPreps the link. Click here to read the story.

Since the cancelation of the 3A/4A state basketball tournament, all prep sports in Wyoming, including practices (except for 2 days), have been on hiatus.
