The 3A west regional girls swimming meet was held over the weekend in Riverton. We had a few multi-event winners in this meet. Lyman’s Brynlee Busskohl won the 100 breaststroke in 1.06.34 and the 50 freestyle in 24.38. Olivia Fowler of Lander took the 200 individual medley with a time of 2.22.28 and also tapped the wall first in the 100 backstroke with a clocking of in 1.02.32 Her teammate Ashlon Koch was a 2 events winner as well. She clocked 2.02.54 to take the 200 free plus she secured a victory in the 500 free in 5.41.73.

Also, Sierra Hatten from Sublette was the victor in the 100 butterfly in 1.03.31. Josie Dike from Riverton won the gold medal in the 100 free with a time of 56.72. Isabella Romasko from Sublette rang up 359.95 points to win the diving event. In the relays Lyman won the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay. Lander was the winner of the 400 free relay

In the 3a team standings, Powell took first with 307 points, Lander 2nd with 277, Lyman 3rd with 219, Sublette next with 203 followed by Riverton and Kemmerer. The state 3A girls swimming meet will begin Thursday and conclude Friday in Gillette.
