The WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll was the same for the third consecutive week after WyoPreps.com released it on Wednesday. Four of the top five lost at least one game last week. Both Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East split against Laramie. Thunder Basin lost at Cody, and Rock Springs split its road games at Torrington and Wheatland. Despite all of that, nothing changed except for a little bit of the voting in the latest rankings.

Last week featured all cross-quad doubleheaders. This week’s schedule has league games back on the slate. The weather has already forced some twin bills to either move up times or get postponed to later in the season.

WyoPreps provided coaches and media members around the state a chance to vote this week on who they felt were the top teams in high school softball around Wyoming during Week 5 of the 2026 season.
