No changes in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll released on Wednesday by WyoPreps.com. Campbell County continued its stay at the top of the rankings with 24 of the 26 first-place votes. The Camels’ lead in the balloting was by nearly 100 points after the votes were counted. Cheyenne Central was the only other team that received a first-place nod, and the Indians got two. Those two squads are a combined 21-1 this season, and both are undefeated in four conference games.

Cheyenne East held the third spot for the third straight week. Thunder Basin remained fourth. Both of those teams got votes from second through fifth place in the voting. Rock Springs did not play last week due to the weather, but the Tigers maintained their spot at No. 5. Four other teams received votes in the new poll.

Last week saw a smattering of action with a few doubleheaders postponed because of the weather. This week’s schedule features cross-quad games within the same region, before league play resumes next week, and includes makeup games.

WyoPreps provided coaches and media members around the state a chance to vote this week on who they felt were the top teams in high school softball around Wyoming during Week 4 of the 2026 season.
