Last WyoPreps Softball Rankings of the 2025 Season Released

The final WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll of the year contained a new No. 1 and four teams that traded spots within the top five. Cheyenne East returned to the top for the first time in four weeks. The Thunderbirds only received five first-place votes, but ten second-place votes carried them to the No. 1 ranking. Cheyenne East was only three points ahead of last week’s top team, Campbell County. The Camels dropped one position to second. They garnered ten first-place votes, but fewer second-place votes and even a fourth-place tally kept Campbell County from staying on top. Thunder Basin remained third. Wheatland and Sheridan exchanged spots, as the Bulldogs went to fourth, and the Broncs slid to fifth.

2025 WYOPREPS COACHES AND MEDIA SOFTBALL POLL

Cheyenne Central and Laramie received votes again in the last poll. Both the Indians and Plainsmen snagged a second-place vote. All the Wyoming prep softball programs are gearing up for the first regional softball tournaments in Casper and Laramie on Friday and Saturday.
