Cheyenne East Boys Basketball Postgame Remarks (Video)

The boy's basketball team from Cheyenne East is 6-4 on the year after taking 2 of in the Winter Showcase Tournament over the weekend. The T-Birds rebounded from a loss to Kelly Walsh on Thursday with a big win over Natrona and a hard-earned victory over a talented Rock Springs team on Saturday. East has 3 guys averaging 10 points a game; Kam Nath, Kaenen Zowada, and Treyden Johnson.

All the ingredients are there for a good season, it's just a matter of finding consistency and traction. The Thunderbirds have put together 3 straight years of 20+ wins including a State Championship in 2023. There's a winning attitude with this program and they're going to be a challenge for everybody they play.

We chatted with Kam Nath and Tanner Stehwien after their victory over Natrona on Friday and it's all part of the process.
